My Consultation

VenusCentre Vein Clinic consultations are informative and comprehensive. Dr Lekich will discuss your medical history questionnaire with you and examine the areas of concern. A full ultrasound of your legs will be performed using state of the art ultrasound equipment– giving us the highest imaging resolution available. Both deep varicose and more superficial veins can be easily identified with this equipment.

Dr Lekich will discuss the results with you and answer any questions that you may have. After a full discussion of the treatment options available to you, a cost assessment and treatment schedule will be outlined.

How long does the Consultation take?
The consultation generally takes around an hour. 

What do I Wear?
Usually skirts are easier – however we do provide gowns to wear during the examination of your legs.

Can I have Treatment the same Day?
We will endeavour to offer you the first available treatment time after your consultation so you can proceed with treatment at the times that suit you. Generally Dr Lekich prefers that you have time to consider your treatment decision.
